Cuz this is THRILLER--hoohoo!Yes, YES! here it is, this halloween I donned the infamous MJ thriller jacket and became Michael Jackson--thriller-style! As you may have noticed throughout our friendship, I love to dress up, which is why Halloween is my second favorite holiday. I had a rotation down in Tucson, AZ for a month and every day as i drove to the hosp
ital, I went past this Costume store, finally on my last day as i was driving home, my curiosity got the better of me and I went in for a gander--It ended up being much more than a gander. I enjoyed the store for over an hr finding accessories to several costumes i've used before that remain in my costume box, I found a mask for a future masquerade (in december) and then just as i was about to leave--i found this jacket and couldn't resist, not only was it MJ's jacket, but it's my favorite of all MJ's jackets. I may have spent a small fortune on the jacket, wig, masks, and multiple accessories, but i left that store with at least 20 minutes of giddiness:) Unfortunately I had to wait a whol
e month before halloween to wear it. But in the meantimeme and my brother found time to meet a friend at disneyland--This was my first time going to disneyland all Halloweenified, and of course it was pure disney magic! They go to such great lengths and imagination to turn the park into a fantasy, and it held true for Halloween with hundreds of pumpkins/jack-o-lanterns and the Haunted Mansion transformed into The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Then came halloween weekend--I went to two super fun dances and of course I knew halloween dances would play Thriller and OF COURSE I learned the dance to complete my costume:) It was fun to have a large crowd surrounding me as I performed Thriller AS MJ! Hoo-Hoo!!!
